passing the time

1. I still have no excitement towards Halloween. I am very proud of my bjork swan dress I made this year, it's definitely now my go to outfit for any costume party I get invited to in the future.
2. As excited as I was for this awesome fishbowl, it had turned out to be extremely difficult to change the water (impossible to do by yourself) and our fish (who I believe is still nameless) is such a bore. He is sometimes fun to watch eat his little freeze dried worms but other than that I usually think he has died. I want a cat.
3. This cute earring holder is extremely easy to make and it baffles me that people will buy them from urban outfitters for way too much money. Make your own. Or I'll make you one and you can buy it from me =) I have two of these in my room and I never wear earrings.
4. My dresser is a huge mess and I desperately want more jewelry. I'm planning to make a necklace holder tree branch thing as soon as i find the perfect tree branches to do so. For now, my necklaces will remain a tangled mess.

brushing the dust off this old thing

With school and relationships coming to an end all at the start of summer, I had completely forgotten about this little blog and now that it has waited patiently for me to get my life worked out (sort of) I am going to try and get back into it.
Life updates:
I graduated from college. Woo!!
I happened to find the love of my life. Woooooo!!!!!
And now, I am working on some well overdue art projects and also trying to figure out the next place to call home.
This picture consists of everything that has been my life lately: laptop, love letter and goodies from my love overseas, and my new project of whale babies.
There are lots more pictures to post...but maybe it will be better if I drag them out a bit.

busy but making promises

I've been so busy with school and dealing with real life, I haven't had too much time to work on improving my blogging skills and I'm hoping to deal with this issue in the near future. For now, please be satisfied with a picture of the lovely Bear in his polo shirt.
His wardrobe has been building steadily and he now has his own shelf in my makeshift closet. Don't be fooled by his adorable helpless look in the picture, most of the time he is a gremlin.
I finally finished an art piece a couple weeks ago and that felt really good since I've been deprived time to work on my own stuff. And, I'm hoping that will change as well if I get this internship for an art gallery soon to open in the Russian Hill area.
Oh! And i finally learned how to knit and made my first scarf in like a weeks time because i couldn't stop knitting! I think I have my christmas presents all lined up this year...

Things seem to be looking up.
